This is a newly revised version of my introductory Religions of the World. It utilizes Jeffrey J. Kripal's Comparing Religions: The Study of Us That Changes Us, 2nd Edition (publisher's page). The book is very different than the previous textbook I used (Paul Hedges' Understanding Religion); in fact, I would say the courses are entirely different precisely because of the textbooks.
