Religions of the World (Hybrid)



An introductory survey of the academic study of religion through the histories, intellectual and spiritual traditions, texts, rituals, and socio-political interactions of various religions of the world. Theories and methods in the study of religion are covered. Indigenous, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, and Islamic traditions are surveyed. Attention is given to their relationships with each other and the cultures in which they are located.
